The Maritime Safety International Conference (MASTIC) is an international conference organized by the Department of Ship System Engineering, Faculty of Marine Technology, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya. The aim of MASTIC is to facilitate the exchange of the latest information, development, and innovative ideas in the field of marine technology, particularly those related to ship operation safety and maritime industry security.

MASTIC also covers cutting-edge technologies in ship safety operations and maritime facility management, as well as the advancement of technology in marine engineering.

MASTIC is designed to be a biennial international conference where papers will undergo a peer-reviewed process to ensure publication quality and is expected to serve as a platform for networking among academic institutions, research organizations, government agencies, maritime industry, manufacturing industry, shipbuilding industry, and all stakeholders involved in maritime affairs.

1st Maritime Safety International Conference was held from 9th to 11th July 2018.
